I Love You, indeed
I have conquered the science projects. Yes, yes that is a magical device that blows up balloons and requires noooo contact with your mouth. Can I hear a huzzah?
So, my science class this week was much better than before because I was prepared with my balloon blower-upper and those slobbery balloons didn't stand a chance. Point one for the teacher!
Anyway, on Wednesday (yesterday) it rained. Of course this happened to be on the day I decided to wear my floral pants and so topped with my flower-print raincoat (not to mention my umbrella which is an innocent shade of lilac that breaks out in little daisies when it gets wet) I looked like a floriculture greenhouse threw up all over me.
Just picture: flower-print pants. flower-print jacket. flower-print umbrella. All un-matching colors.
I'm sure I was a sight to behold.
It looked something like this (though you can't see the pants and umbrella):

Oh, happy day!
But yeah…I had to go to the bank like that....because Wednesday was our open-our-new-accounts day and we decided to go with KEB (a big international bank here) which opens at 9am--only 30 minutes before we are required to be at work.
We left a little early so that we would be there in plenty of time and that meant we had to wait inside the ATM area for the doors to open, water dripping off of our umbrellas and making big, embarrassing puddles on the tile floor. Luckily, coming early was worth it because we were the first inside and didn't have to wait at all. The staff also spoke really good English (another reason why we choose KEB) so it was relatively easy to set up an account.
The only problem was that, even though we were opening the same exact kind of account, for some reason mine took suuuuper long. Like, Jenee was done before 9:30 but mine wasn't finished until a little after 9:45.
Talk about stressful. But it had to be done since we have to have an account in order to get our paychecks. Hopefully we have it all set up correctly and everything now though so we won't need to go to the bank.
Anyway, we are going on a field trip tomorrow with the kindy (morning) classes to....dun dun dun the recycling center! Oh, boy! How exciting! I just hope the day goes by quickly!! The weekend is cooooomming!!!
